S C E N E W O R L D 6
by People of Liberty
Text by Dave Moorman
The Commodore Scene is truly
global in scope, and this publication
is becoming the "most trusted news
source." We have literally thousands
of co-fanatics in Europe, guys and
(maybe) gals who live to sit up nights
and code C-64/128 magic.
I wanted to thank Joerg Droege for
this excellent diskmag, so I sent him
a one-1541 side of LOADSTAR classic
programs. I chose a "Wild West" theme,
and included [Trail West], [Shoot Out
at Ft. Apache], [Western Writer], and
[Movie Mogul] -- all of which have
appeared on LOADSTAR during the last
year or so. The People of Liberty
decided to run the mini-issue as "side
2" of SW6, and Merman gives it an
honest review in the text files.
You are right -- I have an
alterior motive: getting Euro
subscriptions and submissions to
LOADSTAR. With the establishment of
the Euro, our prices are not all that
different. PayPal now accepts cash
transfers in Euros/Dollars. And email
keeps prices low, makes delivery a
cinch.
You will note two familiar names
in the credits:
Robin Harbron wrote the "Presenter"
program, using
Lee Novak's Mr. Mouse.
But take a look at the artwork at
the top of the page! We need to find
people who can make such things happen
here at the Tower.
So, Press <R> and sit back and
learn about C=dom all around the
world.
