  8.     The Commodore Scene is truly
  9. global in scope, and this publication
  10. is becoming the "most trusted news
  11. source." We have literally thousands
  12. of co-fanatics in Europe, guys and
  13. (maybe) gals who live to sit up nights
  14. and code C-64/128 magic.

  16.     I wanted to thank Joerg Droege for
  17. this excellent diskmag, so I sent him
  18. a one-1541 side of LOADSTAR classic
  19. programs. I chose a "Wild West" theme,
  20. and included [Trail West], [Shoot Out
  21. at Ft. Apache], [Western Writer], and
  22. [Movie Mogul] -- all of which have
  23. appeared on LOADSTAR during the last
  24. year or so. The People of Liberty
  25. decided to run the mini-issue as "side
  26. 2" of SW6, and Merman gives it an
  27. honest review in the text files.

  29.     You are right -- I have an
  30. alterior motive: getting Euro
  31. subscriptions and submissions to
  32. LOADSTAR. With the establishment of
  33. the Euro, our prices are not all that
  34. different. PayPal now accepts cash
  35. transfers in Euros/Dollars. And email
  36. keeps prices low, makes delivery a
  37. cinch.
